Here is my much modified Mamod Chuffing at the Holt Wood Light raiway with a heavy load on and Old Tom at the regulator.
Here is a much upgraded Mamod SL1 kit. It has a new boiler, burner and cylinders but the smoke-box is standard and so demonstrates how a Chuffer sounds. Needless to say it was difficult to make it run slowly!
Here Peter Rohde showes the difference between the standard Roundhouse exhaust and the Chuffer on his Roundhouse Atlantic. Peter's fitting notes are here.
And here Peter demonstrates the Roundhouse Atlantic again - this time showing a little wheel-slip which can now be controlled by ear!
