Here is Rob Bennet's Archangel 7/8" scale loco which is externally meths fired with a single cylinder. It is fitted with a smaller than standard Chuffer to fit the narrow chimney and is a simple push fit on to the 1/8" exhaust.
Here is that Roundhouse Fowler again - making quite a racket at the Holt Wood Light Railway, courtesy of Roy Wood.
It is a heavy train and the loco is running on about 20 psi with wide throttle openings much of the time. Some on-board shots are included in this one.
Iain Maclean was the first to try out the VoR Chuffer after kindly supplying us with the details and measurements. Here it is seen running (and chuffing) on the Tryfon Vale Light railway.
Here is my 7/8ths scale Roundhouse hybrid (Bertie/Katie) running with 16mm stock at the Holt Wood Light Railway. On this loco, the Chuffer slot is positioned 1/3 of the way up the chimney by lengthening the connecting tube.
